As part of the emoluments that the Saudis are putting up for Trump's trip to the Middle East, they have provided, for his dining entertainment and enjoyment, a Fully Operational Mobile McDonald's Unit.
This isn't necessarily as hard as it sounds. McDonald's has these units, available for rental for special events, and probably have a number of them in various places with a sufficient density of McDonald's restaurants.
Presumably the Saudis simply rented one of these (since it is unlikely that one is currently stationed in Saudi Arabia) and easily had it transported to their location for the duration of Trump's visit.
However, using a Fully Operational Mobile McDonald's Unit does seem to defeat the purpose of Trump's preference for McDonald's. I have no doubt that Trump does like McDonald's meals. After all, on one particularly notable occasion, he provided tons and tons of McDonald's sandwiches and fries, laid out on the banquet tables of the White House, for a visiting sports team. I doubt that he asked for dietary preferences of the team members, although I also doubt that anybody particularly objected. But it is not his love of the special sauce that makes Trump prefer McDonald's food. Trump has a kind of obsession, flavored with a bit of paranoia, that somebody is going to try to poison him. I am not saying that nobody has ever had this thought, mind you, it just seems a really weird thing to worry about when you have your own kitchen, and catering staff. But that's as may be. The real reason that Trump likes McDonald's is because so many people eat there. And, because so many people are ordering such a limited number of items, it would be extremely difficult for someone to poison *his* Big Mac, or Quarter Pounder.
However, when you have an isolated Fully Operational Mobile McDonald's unit, in a place where probably that is not the preferred restaurant destination, intended to provide McDonald's sandwiches and fries for him, and only for him, it does rather defeat the purpose, if the purpose is obfuscation as to who actually is going to be fed from this particular catering unit.
