I understand that the pope has said that priests shouldn't use generative artificial intelligence to write sermons.

Thinking back to my own research into this possibility, and the lamentable results, I would have thought that this was glaringly obvious, and that nobody would do it.

And then I thought back to a lot of the sermons that I have recently endured, and wondered if the practice wasn't already deeply entrenched ...
