Meta-Bible

In doing some more research into how well the various genAI tools work, I found that Meta AI seems to have a preference for quoting some of the lesser-known and used translations of the Bible, and particularly those that are more paraphrases than translations.  Claude, DeepSeek and Meta don't identify the versions that they use, but seem to prefer lesser known translations.  Gemini seems to prefer King James, but sometimes uses other versions.  For some reason Qwen always seems to use the ESV.

Interesting.  Evidence of bias of some sort? ...

ChatGPT seems to stick with the NIV.  Although, interestingly, it will sometimes trim the verse to fit the point being made.  Claude, Grok, and Perplexity also seems to prefer the NIV.  ChatGPT and Grok identify it as such in citations.

I would not suggest that any of them can produce anything like a decent sermon or even a devotion.  But, while Claude is the most banal, and ChatGPT runs it a close second, Meta AI produced something that, at least, prompted some further ideas that I could use.
